China rectangular lifting electromagnet is not just a technical solution. We saw how at one plant in Yekaterinburg they replaced two round magnets of 5 tons with one rectangular magnet - 8 tons. They reduced the cycle time from 42 to 27 seconds. And most importantly, cases of failure when turning the crane have disappeared.

Reliability is not marketing, but engineering architecture

China rectangular lifting electromagnet is often associated with the risk of overheating or sudden loss of power. But this is only true for low-quality solutions. True reliability is built from three layers:

  1. Heat resistant Class H insulation— withstands 180 °C without degradation. Not “to failure”, but in normal mode 24/7 at ambient temperatures up to +55 °C.
  2. Emergency hold system: when there is a power failure, the built-in battery (LiFePO₄) turns on, ensuring the load is held for at least 15 minutes - enough to safely lower the metal.
  3. Mechanical protection: Reinforced die-cast aluminum alloy housing with anti-vibration inserts. Not a single model showed cracks after 120,000 cycles under shock loading conditions (test mode GOST R 52297–2019).

Important: reliability begins with the correct choice of power. If the declared lifting force is 6 tons, and the actual weight of the load is 5.8 tons with a steel thickness of 16 mm, this is normal. But if the same magnet takes 5.8 tons with a thickness of 6 mm, it means it is working at the limit. Such solutions quickly lose magnetic induction.

A quick climb is not about the speed of activation, but about the lack of preparation

The “fast” in the name is not a publicity stunt. This reflects three practical advantages:

  • Zero surface preparation: does not require stripping of rust, oil or paint - even works on oxidized steel;
  • One click instead of three actions: there is no need to fix the slings, check the angle of inclination, adjust the grip - brought it up, turned it on, lifted it;
  • Automatic adaptation: modern models regulate the current in real time according to the thickness and grade of metal (for example, 09G2S vs. 12Х18Н10Т).

At a warehouse in Novosibirsk, an operator with 12 years of experience said: “I used to count cycles using a stopwatch. Now - by the number of sighs. With this magnet there are fewer of them.”

How to choose - without overpayments and compromises

Don't buy by weight. Buy bynature of the work:

  • If the cargo is sheets, strips, channelsthicker than 10 mm→ you need a magnet with high magnetic induction (≥1.4 Tesla) and a rigid magnetic core;
  • If the load is thin sheet steel, mesh, parts with an uneven surface → field uniformity and the presence of compensation zones are more important;
  • If a workshop with frequent voltage surges (<±15%) → a built-in current stabilization system is required.
